We are looking for a self-motivated Legal Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the office and effective case management. You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney.
Key responsibilities:
1. Land sale agreements, registration, sale deeds, revenue matters
2. Provide administrative support to lawyers and enhance office effectiveness
3. Handle communication with clients, witnesses, etc.
4. Administratively support and attend trials
5. Prepare case briefs and summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimony
6. Conduct investigations and statistical/documentary research
7. Locate and develop case-relevant information
8. Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence
9. Maintain contact lists
10. Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
1. Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary
2. Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system
3. Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
4. Computer literacy
5. Proficiency in English
6. Working knowledge of case management software
7. Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
8. Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
9. Legal Assistant certification or diploma
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,80,000 - 3,60,000 /year
